Opening of “Artisans of Cogne – Artisan women”

On Thursday the 8th of July at 5pm the exhibition Artisans of Cogne – Artisan Women will be inaugurated at Maison Gérard-Dayné of Cogne.

The third edition of Artisans of Cogne is dedicated to artisan women; the artisans participating in the exhibition will be Lea Bérard, with her polychrome work that integrate into the house’s wooden and stone architecture; Orsetta Jeantet, with her colourful carved work, Barbara Tutino, who will be presenting an extract of the exhibition Barbara Tutino paints Walter Bonatti and the Dentellières of Cogne, with their famous lace and the bobbins with which it used to be made.

The entrance to the opening will be free and on the occasion there will be a free guided tour of the house.

The Maison Gérard-Dayné can be visited every day except Mondays until the 12th of September, from 3pm to 7pm. There will be a guided visit every hour, as well as unscheduled visits for groups of more than 15 people.
